last Saturday 19th April 2008, my ex scout troop was having their annual gathering and campfire.
I and my friend was invited t become their DJ for the day..(DJ white squid)
For me the event was quite successful considering the lack of man power and although there were not many school that attended the gathering.
At first the event was quite boring.... we were also panicking during the event..
however after that we manage to get ourself together and made it through the event.
imagine, the songs were burned that morning just before the event at 9.00 am.
the committee were doing great through out that event.. they really put their best effort into doing it.
this is what we need in a saintz scouts. I am very happy seeing the troop working together in making the day's event a successful one. All the seniors also came back to help to oversees the event. they also helped out during the event.
Although there was some disturbance halfway through the event, they eventually manage to handle it wisely. As in the night our work from DJ to MC. not bad for two guys that has never MC before any event..
in the end everything went fine but the committee have to stay back to clean up..
The only problem is is when the rain came. the band that suppose to play had to cancel all their performance.
was at our school basketball court"haha" to bad for them. what a waste. our lighting ceremony cannot be done and other events also cannot be done. The program had to be conducted in the hall whereby the original venue. Ocean of fire fire were invited to preform but turns out to be Ocean of water because of the rain.
Other than that the event went smoothly in order..
